Masicka is taking on everybody in dancehall except for the Gaza boss.
Earlier this month, Masicka took a few shots at Mavado and Alkaline during a performance in the Caribbean island Antigua. Seems the Genahsyde deejay was just getting started because now he unleashed a gritty new diss track “Squeeze” where he not only disses Gully/Vendetta, but also take down Aidonia who he has a long standing beef with.
“Banga dem weh hammer nyamma dem weh / The rasslcaat K it a stagger them weh / If a no Gaza a Genahsyde a dat them say / Light up a spliff with the grabba them deh,” Masicak rhymes while responding to Aidonia single “Banga.” In another line, Masicka also took a few shots at Mavado calling him a fake dread. “Wake which boss fake dread weh kiss ass / Know how much boy man put underneath grass,” the Genahsyde deejay spits.
The diss track was produced by Dakrome and Genahsyde Records. A few days ago Aidonia released an unconfirmed diss record aimed at Masicka titled “Krazy.” Despite a feud between the two dancehall stars, Aidonia has never really take up a lyrical feud with the Genahsyde leader presumably because his career wasn’t big enough to worth the effort before. But now that Masicka is making a name for himself in dancehall, perhaps he is now getting Aidonia’s attention, but will he also get Alkaline and Mavado’s attention. Those two deejays are arguably the two top artists in dancehall at the moment.
