The representative of the department, Igor Konashenkov, announced a strike on Kharkov, as a result of which, according to him, up to 150 Ukrainian servicemen were killed and 12 pieces of equipment of the 93rd mechanized brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine were destroyed.

Earlier, the head of the regional military administration, Vitaly Kim, announced the missile strikes in the Nikolaev region. According to him, the Limany were shelled on the evening of July 4. On the morning of July 5, UNIAN, citing eyewitnesses, reported explosions in Kharkov.
According to Konashenkov, the Russian military hit two command posts of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the Donetsk People's Republic, as well as four ammunition depots and rocket and artillery weapons near the village of Krasnoe in the Kharkiv region.

In addition, he claims, Russian air defense systems shot down three Ukrainian drones in the Kherson and Kharkov regions and in the LPR, as well as three Tochka-U tactical missiles. A Ukrainian Su-25 aircraft was shot down in the Kherson region, the Ministry of Defense added.

For example, on July 3, the Ministry of Defense reported on an airborne strike in Nikolaev, which killed up to 120 “soldiers of fortune”. As of mid-June, according to agency estimates, more than 3,000 foreign mercenaries fought in Ukraine on the side of Kyiv.
